Hydrochloric acid pharma grade (HCl)

Colourless to pale yellow liquid with strong irritating odour. Concentrated hydrochloric acid is an aqueous solution of hydrogen chloride gas. HCl pharmaceutical grade is an inorganic chemical compound with strong corrosive properties. The product is obtained by direct synthesis of elements by burning chlorine in hydrogen. Hydrogen chloride thus produced is absorbed by water.

HCl pharma grade is characterised by high quality and purity which confirms compliance with the 9.0 edition of European Pharmacopoeia. Hydrochloric acid Ph. Eur. is the equivalent of hydrochloric acid BP and hydrochloric acid NF.
